For this activity, we were challenged with researching the role of PHN in our school, and telling others how they help us. The role of PHN also stands for Public Health Nurses who impact our schools and people around them very much.
In case of minor injury, PHN can provide disinfectant to prevent the injury from getting worse, and in case of severe injury, the PHN can be in control of keeping the area evacuated, the victim safe and the ambulance called.
This activity links to attitude because PHN (public health nurses) have to keep a positive attitude to keep others safe. If they didn't it would make their job and others harder, and there would be less probablitity of safety of the patient.
I really enjoyed this activity because before I completed this task, I wasn't sure what PHN meant, so I took the opportunity to learn about public health nurses and teach my audience about their importance.
