Te Reo Maori | Maori language

LI: to understand and translate more about the Maori language.

This week we were in pairs and we learnt about the different days of the week and months of the year in Maori language and traditional speech. We had to make a copy of this document and re-arrange the the Maori labels of the days of the week in order. We had to use the Maori Dictionary to do this. We also had to rearrange the traditional language labels. We had to answer 2 questions below the table using the traditional Maori language.

Next, we translated all twelve months of the year. Like the days of the week, we had to arrange the assimilation names to the correct order and we had to do that with traditional names as well. We then had to translate 5 random dates and answer the question, 'When was your birthday?' in traditional Maori language.
