Cybersmart | Smart & Legal Images
LI: to explain how to find a legal image.
In Cyber smart, we continued to learn about legal and illegal images. In pairs, we had to make a DLO (digital learning object) and explain how to find a legal image. There are 3 ways to find legal images. They are: The Slow way, The faster way and The super speedy way. My partner and I chose to explain the super speedy way. My partner was Farzana and we made a slideshow+quiz.
Legal images
A legal image is an image that is appropriate for public and you have permission and rights to use it. To find out if it is a legal image, read the license of that site and it will explain if you have permission to use it.
Illegal images
An illegal image is an image you have no permission or right to use and it is inappropriate. Read the license to find out if you have any permission to use the image. Make sure that any images you use are appropriate for your age and under.
Attributions
It is important to attribute images because it gives credit to the owner. It is also because the owner of the image has taken the time, effort and maybe even money to create or take the photo/image.
