Kiwi Can | Respecting others | Desires & Needs | Differences

LI: to respect others for their desires and needs.

In Kiwi Can we had a short recap of what we were learning this term. We talked about how others have their own desires and needs and what makes others different to us. A desire is one thing you really really want and a need is something you must have whether you want it or not. We played a game called 'Mirror, mirror'.

Energiser - Mirror, Mirror
To play this game, you have to go into two lines and face the other line so that there is a gap in the middle and everyone has a person to face. Then one side becomes the mirror and the other side is the person looking into the mirror. The mirror has to copy whatever the other person does on the opposite side. Example: If the person looking into the mirror puts their left hand up, the mirror has to put their right hand up. This linked to what we were talking about by how we can respect what others want to do and their actions towards us.

Activity - Elimination
We played in groups of 4 for this game. One person in the group was facing the other three and the other three people in the group were in a line facing the one specific person in front. The person in front of the line had a ball and had to pass it to the person in front then pass it back. Then that person would go to the back of the line and continue until back to the beginning of the line and everyone was in their original place but the second person in line had to attempt to shoot a ball.
