Maths | Time

Time is an ongoing sequence of events happening.

There are many other ways to measure units of time, three different kinds are: singing, egg timer, and pendulum.

The tempo and speed of a song depends on how someones singing it. Washing your hands should take 40 seconds. Making a bed should take 1 minute.

The pendulum measures time by the amount of times it swings. The swings will be different depending on the length of the string and the weight of the pendulum. The pendulum took 40-50 seconds.

An egg timer depends on someones progess with something, and measures time by counting down the minutes depending on someones process on something. Brushing your teeth takes about 2 minutes.

Singing, egg timers and pendulums are only three of many other ways to measure non-standard time.

LI: to investigate the units of time.
