Kiwican | Resilience | Self Control | Distractions

LI: to focus more (avoid distractions)

We learned how to focus and avoid getting distracted. Distracted means to fall out of focus or take notice something. Many things can distract us, some like; Talking or physically annoying another and/or each other. To learn about distractions, we played a game called Distraction Circle.

Activity - Distraction Circle
Distraction circle is played in groups of people. One person in the group stands in the middle of the other people. One at the front, two or more people at the sides and one or more person at the back. The person in the middle of the circle CANNOT turn around or rotate.

The person facing the person in the middle, had to come up with actions for the person in the middle to copy. The people on the right side of the person in the middle had to come up with a story to tell to the person standing in the middle. On the left, the person had to come up or sing a song. At the back, the person had to draw numbers on the back of the person in the middle.

This helped us learn about distractions by how we had to pay attention to as much as we could and stay on task. If we got distracted and fail to do one of the four things than that would count as being distracted because we fell out of focus to pay attention to something else.
