Today, Shanti's swimming group were focusing on recapping basic swimming skills in addition to backward kicking and submerge freestyle.
First, they recapped how to enter the pool safely.
They practiced the swimming skills they focused on last week and then did backstroke, backward kicking and submerge freestyle.
For the backstroke, they used a kick board and floated on their back while kicking.
After that, they did the backward kicking. For the backward kicking, they did a backwards kicking streamline.
Finally, for the submerge freestyle, they were able to use any swimming method and swam under water through a hoop.
