LI: To learn new Maori words

This week for Maori, We learnt new Maori words about places, feelings and more. We had options of Maori names at the bottom and we had to pick which one matched the English name. Examples: The great cloak of Tia, Big Mountain, Flowing River. Whanga means Harbour in Maori so any Maori word with whanga in it means a type of harbour. Roto means lake so any Maori word with roto in it means a type of English lake.

Many of these english names are places or famous landmarks and some of them are objects or feelings, ect.
