Day 2 | Weird and Wonderful

LI: Blog about a maths problem about if you had a cactus. Equation: You have a cactus, and to keep it alive you need to give it 3ml of water a day. In a year, how many millilitres in total have you given it? 3x365 = 1095. Click here to see the document I made.

  1. Hey Bella!
Lee here from the SLJ team. I'd love to look at your document, could you show me?
You got the correct answer! Do you know how many litres that equals? Now there's an interesting question!

I think I want to get a cactus to take care of. Apparently it's quite easy. Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. Kia Ora Bella,

Fantastic Post! I really like how simple you have kept your post and how much effort you putted towards it. I think everyone who has participated in the SLJ programme has all done the same way of solving this maths problem, which is really weird. Well, I have completed the SLJ programme and I am now commenting so this is my reason of why I'm here. I loved reading the way you would solve this and how much effort there is to this.

Would you like to take care of a Cactus?

Great work, keep it up and have fun during the holidays.
