Ratios
A ratio is a relation between two or more amounts showing the number of times one value contains or is contained within in the other. We needed to make a slide about Ratios and how to solve them. A whole ratio, is including a base or the linking item/other that it is interacting with. Still don't understand? Here's an example: There is 2 pieces of pizza on one plate. What is the ratio? The ratio for it is 2:1. The 2 representing the pieces of pizza and the 1 representing the plate.
How did we learn about ratios?
We needed to watch, listen and understand the explanation given by Mr Wong to tell us about the Ratios. He gave examples and explanations of what a Ratio is so we understood and were able to complete the task.
